After recently rediscovering my enjoyment of video games after a good fifteen years of my life spent buried in books, university, and work, the world of video games couldn’t be more exciting than today! My blog will aim to capture my journey as a noob gamer to become a proper and fully-fledged pro gamer. The definition of a pro gamer is debatable, but I want to reach the skill level where I can confidently pick up a game – whether it be old or new, quickly grab concepts, and quickly master a game with confidence. My journey won’t be an easy one, I will admit and fully embrace. However, I will make the commitment to invest a good portion of my time each week to writing about my experience, reflections, frustrations, and triumphs. This is my journey, after all! For all my readers, I hope you enjoy it and I hope it provides a refreshing perspective of a newbie’s journey back into video gaming.
Aside from games, my interests lie in nostalgic beauty and what makes our pop culture past so great and set the precedence for the now and future. I recently ignited my passion in the magic of instant photography, video games old and new, and stop-motion films.
